No Speed Limit Sign from the Infamous Autobahn. Made from heavy gauge metal in the USA, this Autobahn sign measures 14 inches and comes predrilled, ready to hang.
The Autobahn is the federal controlled access highway system in Germany. The official German term is Bundesautobahn which translates as federal motorway. Construction of the first autobahn, the section between Cologne and Bonn, began in 1929; the road opened to the public in 1932, the year before Adolf Hitler was appointed chancellor of Germany. German autobahns have no federally mandated speed limit for some classes of vehicles.
Hang up a piece of German highway memorabilia!
